Kia Ora! My name is Gayatri pronounced (Ga-yuh-tree). I was born and raised in Mumbai, India. I have a background with Psychology and moved to Aotearoa in 2013 to pursue diploma in professional counselling. I am a registered professional. My passion is working within health care sector providing approaches to individuals, whānau and groups to help overcome wellbeing challenges and make positive changes.
I have diverse work history- ranging from mental health, addictions. domestic violence, law, banking and more. My professional training and work history in health care has helped me develop expertise in different therapeutic interventions and models of care. I am excited to work with Green Bay Medical Centre as a Health Improvement Practitioner providing support with “problems of living”.
On personal front, I love to read, catch up with friends and family and open to new experiences that brings me joy, fun and growth.
