I was born in Tonga and raised on the outer island of Vavau. I speak Tongan and English fluently. I undertook secondary school in Japan and Wales, before moving to NZ in 2001. I obtained my medical degree from the University of Auckland in 2007, then spent five years working in NZ hospitals in a wide range of specialties. My passion has always been to work in general practice with a patient focused model of health care. I became a member of the College of General Practice in 2012 and gained fellowship in2017. I have a wide range of interests with particular focus on women's and children's health, aged care, chronic care management and preventative medicine.
I live locally in Titirangi with my husband who isa physiotherapist working in Titirangi. During my free time, I am a busy mother to two children, a dog, a cat, and hopefully some chickens soon and enjoy exploring the beautiful scenery this area and country has to offer.
I am available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
