Long Acting Reversible Contraception

We now have a Contract to provide Free of Charge the long acting reversible contraception or LARC s to certain groups of patients.

You do not need to be enrolled in Green Bay to receive this service.

These include IUCD- Mirena, Jadess and copper IUCD and the Jadelle -more commonly known as the Rods.

The group funded includes:

Live with economic deprivation

or

Have a community service card

or

Are Maori or Pacific Island ethnicity

or

Are at risk of poor outcomes of an unplanned pregnancy such as, but not limited to, woman who experience addiction and/or experience mental health issues.

Should you be unsure if you are eligible and would like a LARC make a time with one of the  doctors to discuss.
