After completing a Science degree in Nutrition and Biochemistry, I entered the Otago Medical School, graduating in 1991, with distinctions in Psychiatry and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. These areas of medicine together with Paediatrics and weight management have continued as my main interests.

After a year as a House Surgeon in Dunedin, my husband and I moved to Auckland. I then worked for two years in hospitals, gaining the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and experience in Psychiatry and Paediatrics.

I then entered the General Practice training programme, and have worked in general practice since, together with a year at Family Planning where I obtained the FPC Certificate.

I have been at Green Bay Medical Centre since 1997.

I have an interest in Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD)

I work all day  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and finish early on Thursday at 3pm.
